1. Introduction

This Refund Policy governs all payments made to Singapore Global Record (SGR) in connection with its application, certification, and related services and products.

By making any payment to Singapore Global Record (SGR), the applicant acknowledges and agrees to be bound by this Refund Policy.

2. Application Fee / Registration Fee

For the purposes of this Policy, the registration fee constitutes the Application Fee referred to in SGR’s Terms and Conditions.

A registration fee is required for submission of an application to Singapore Global Record (SGR).

An application shall only be deemed successfully submitted and registered upon receipt of full payment.

Subject to applicable law, the registration fee shall be non-refundable once SGR has commenced processing the application, including administrative review, registration, verification, evaluation or document assessment.

The registration fee represents administrative, processing, and system-related costs incurred by Singapore Global Record (SGR).

3. No Refund for Registration Fee

The registration fee shall not be dependent on the outcome of the application and shall remain non-refundable regardless of:

• Approval or rejection of application
• Withdrawal by the applicant
• Failure to provide required documents
• Change of decision after submission

4. Certification Fee

The Certification Fee shall become payable upon the Applicant’s acceptance of the certification outcome and before the issuance or delivery of the certification.

5. Refund Eligibility (Certification Fee Only)

Subject to applicable law, the Certification Fee shall be non-refundable once SGR has commenced preparing, issuing, registering or delivering the certification or has granted any certification right or benefit to the Applicant.

6. Definition of Certification Process Commencement

The certification process shall be deemed to have commenced upon any of the following:

• Evaluation or review of submitted materials
• Internal assessment or verification
• Confirmation or acceptance of certification by the applicant
• Assignment of certification reference or record
• Preparation, design, or issuance of certification materials
• Entry into Singapore Global Record (SGR) system or database

7. Non-Refundable Conditions (Certification Fee)

No refund shall be granted where:

• Certification process has commenced
• Certification has been confirmed, approved, or issued
• Certification has been delivered or made available
• Certification has been used for marketing, promotion, or representation
• Any certification rights, benefits, or privileges have been granted
• Any delay or issue is caused by the applicant

8. Renewal and Ongoing Usage

Certification is valid only for the approved period.

Any renewal, continuation, or extended usage of certification, including use of logo or recognition status, shall be subject to additional fees.

Subject to applicable law, all renewal or continuation fees shall be non-refundable once SGR has commenced processing the renewal or continuation request.

9. Non-Transferable Fees

All fees paid to Singapore Global Record (SGR) are non-transferable and may not be offset against other services unless expressly approved by Singapore Global Record (SGR).

10. Administrative Deductions

Any approved refund may be subject to reasonable administrative fees, processing charges and transaction costs actually incurred by SGR.

11. Final Decision

SGR shall determine all refund requests in accordance with this Policy, the Terms and Conditions and applicable law. Nothing in this Policy shall exclude or restrict any right or remedy which cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

11. Incorporation of Terms

This Refund Policy forms part of and shall be read together with SGR’s Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
