1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Singapore Global Record (SGR), including but not limited to application, evaluation, certification, and related activities.

By accessing this website or engaging with Singapore Global Record (SGR), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms.

Singapore Global Record (SGR) reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of such changes.

2. Nature of Certification

Singapore Global Record (SGR) operates as an independent certification and recognition body.

All certifications are based on information, documentation, and materials provided by applicants and evaluated under SGR’s internal framework.

Singapore Global Record (SGR) is not a governmental authority, statutory body, or regulatory agency. Certification does not constitute legal approval, licensing, compliance endorsement, or government recognition.

3. Applicant Responsibilities

Applicants warrant that all information submitted is accurate, complete, and not misleading.

Applicants shall be fully responsible for the authenticity of all submitted materials.

SGR shall not be liable for any consequences arising from false, incomplete, or misleading submissions.

4. Application & Evaluation Rights

Singapore Global Record (SGR) reserves full and absolute discretion to:

• Request additional information or clarification
• Conduct independent verification
• Approve or reject applications without providing reasons
• Suspend or terminate any application at any stage

5. Fees & Payment

All fees payable to Singapore Global Record (SGR) shall follow Singapore Global Record (SGR)’s prevailing fee structure.

Subject to applicable law, all Application Fees are non-refundable once SGR has commenced processing the application, including administrative review, verification, evaluation or document assessment.

Certification fees are refundable only if cancellation is requested in writing prior to the commencement of the certification process.

The certification process is deemed to have commenced upon evaluation, document review, certificate preparation, or system registration.

All fees are strictly non-refundable once the process has commenced. No refund shall be granted after certification has been issued, delivered, or used.

6. Certification Validity & Status

All certifications are valid only for the period stated.

Singapore Global Record (SGR) reserves the right to suspend or revoke certification at any time where necessary.

Certification is non-transferable and applies only to the approved entity.

7. Use of Certification & Marks

Certified entities shall at all times comply with SGR’s Certification Usage Policy, as published or made available by SGR from time to time, which is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms

It is strictly prohibited to:

• Misrepresent certification scope
• Use certification in misleading marketing
• Modify Singapore Global Record (SGR) logos or certificates

Singapore Global Record (SGR) reserves the right to revoke certification for misuse.

8. No Reliance & No Guarantee

Certification by Singapore Global Record (SGR) shall not be relied upon for financial, investment, or commercial decisions.

Singapore Global Record (SGR) makes no representation or guarantee regarding business success, market performance, or commercial outcomes.

9. Limitation of Liability

Notwithstanding any other provision of these Terms and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• SGR shall not be liable to the Applicant for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from any certification or related matter; and
• if SGR is nevertheless found liable, SGR’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the lesser of:
• the fees actually paid by the Applicant for the relevant application or certification; or
• S$2,500.00 for an individual applicant or S$5,000.00 for a corporate applicant.

10. Indemnity

The applicant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Singapore Global Record (SGR) from any claims, liabilities, damages, or legal costs arising from:

• Misuse of certification
• Breach of these Terms
• Violation of laws or third-party rights

11. Publication & Verification

The Applicant consents to SGR publishing, listing, using and displaying the Applicant’s name, corporate or trading name, certification category and status, certificate details, photographs, logos and other submitted materials for verification, record-keeping and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law and SGR’s Privacy Policy.

The Applicant confirms that it has obtained all necessary consents and authorisations for SGR to use and disclose any personal data or materials submitted on behalf of any other person.

12. Audit & Post-Certification Review

Singapore Global Record (SGR) reserves the right to conduct post-certification verification or request additional information at any time.

13. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights of Singapore Global Record (SGR) remain exclusively owned by Singapore Global Record (SGR).

14. Right of Revocation

Singapore Global Record (SGR) reserves the absolute right to revoke certification at any time without notice. No refund shall be granted.

15. Representation and Warranty

The Applicant represents and warrants to Singapore Global Record (SGR) that: (1) the Applicant has the right, power, capacity and authority to lawfully agree to these Terms and perform its obligations and exercise its rights under these Terms; and (2) the Applicant agrees to these Terms voluntarily based on its own information, investigation and/or legal advice.

16. No Waiver

No failure on the part of Singapore Global Record (SGR) to exercise, and no delay on our part in exercising, any right or remedy under these Terms will operate as a waiver thereof, nor will any single or partial exercise of any right or remedy preclude any other or further exercise thereof or the exercise of any other right or remedy. The rights and remedies provided in these Terms are cumulative and not exclusive of any other rights or remedies (whether provided by law or otherwise).

17. Severance

If any term in these Terms is held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of the remainder of these Terms shall not be affected or impaired.

18. Rights of Third Parties

No person who is not a party to these Terms shall have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 of Singapore to enforce any term of these Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. The Applicant agrees that the courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms including any question regarding the validity of these Terms.
